We take stock for the year 2024
Hello everyone,
We're back, yes, unfortunately not much has happened on Mary's Farbklecks in 2024, but we have achieved a lot. What are you probably wondering now! We understand, and that's exactly what we want to tell you about in this blog.
But first, we would like to wish you all a happy and successful 2025.

Turbulent times
I can tell you in advance that we had a turbulent year in 2024! First of all, I have to admit that 1. I have no idea how to start and 2. it is of course true that there was nothing new to discover on the website.
Felix out of action
One of the reasons why we put the website on hold for the time being was that I was put out of action by an injury. After 3 operations and a lot of rehab, I'm now doing quite well again and things are getting better and better.
Our Chaos Gang, Fido and Enaya
So, enough bad news, there is also a lot of good news to report! In February 2024, Mary and I welcomed two lovely four-legged rascals, Fido and Enaya, into our family. Our two woofers have kept us on our toes. It's not for nothing that I've called them “rabbits” above. But both fur noses give us a lot of pleasure and the trips into nature together inspire body and mind....better than Red Bull, coffee and co.
Mary in constant use
Another reason why there wasn't much to see on the website is that Mary was very busy with her retraining and studying last year. In addition, she also had to act as comforter, friend, mom, cleaner, housewife, nurse and predator trainer.
Thank you for that my darling!
In addition to dog training, surgeries, rehab, retraining and all sorts of office, household and recovery stuff, we have also done a lot for Mary's color blob. Mary has been working tirelessly on new designs, projects and our social media presence.
New hoods for Mary
I wasn't quite as busy. Yes, most of the time in 2024 I was busy with my recovery, but that's going great! But I was still able to take care of a few things. I was successful in the area of organization and the procurement of materials and you can look forward to new hoods.
A dream come true! The travel preparations begin
During the time when I was almost unable to move, I concentrated on planning our motorhome. You probably remember that we are planning to go on a big tour. We were able to buy the right vehicle, a Defender 110 Station Wagon, which we have christened Tigerlily, in April. The planning is also almost complete and we will soon be able to start with the conversion.
Problem solved...Yippee
You may also remember our “roof terrace or workshop problem” ... I can tell you that I was often reprimanded for turning the roof terrace into a workshop, but we were able to solve that too. Over the last few months, we have cleared out the vaulted cellar and converted it into a workshop. So the roof terrace is a roof terrace again, but what can I say, our roof terrace must somehow always have two uses. Now it's just a roof terrace and a dog playground.

If there's anything new about the car or workshop, I'll of course let you know. But I'm particularly looking forward to completing a project for and by you in the workshop soon.
The heart and soul of Farbklecks
Mary, our busy little bee, the heart and soul of Farbklecks, has been very productive in all areas and I'm looking forward to being able to present everything new to you soon. I'm particularly pleased to be able to tell you that the art of Mary's Farbklecks will soon be available to buy. We will be offering selected pieces for sale here on the site and via Etsy.
So now I've rambled on enough!
